Fast, flavorful, and reliable, this five-ingredient honey garlic glazed salmon delivers tender, flaky fish coated in a glossy, sweet-savory glaze. Perfect for busy weeknights, it’s made with just one pan and a handful of pantry staples.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley or sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, garlic, and soy sauce.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes.
  5. Flip the salmon, pour honey garlic sauce into the pan, and cook another 3–4 minutes, spooning sauce over the fish as it thickens.
  6. Remove from heat once salmon is flaky and glazed.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes or a dash of sriracha to the glaze. Bake instead of pan-sear by cooking at 400°F for 12–15 minutes, brushing with glaze halfway. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days, and mix sauce up to 3 days in advance for convenience.
