Dubai Chocolate Covered Strawberries are a viral Middle Eastern-inspired dessert that transforms the classic combo of strawberries and chocolate into a luxurious, no-bake treat with layers of pistachio cream and crunchy kataifi. Simple to make, stunning to serve.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup kataifi (shredded and chopped)
  • ¾ cup pistachio butter or pistachio cream
  • ½ cup crushed pistachios
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 cups strawberries, halved or quartered

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a pan and add kataifi. Stir over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
  2. Turn off heat and stir in pistachio butter until combined. Mix in crushed pistachios and let cool.
  3. Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  4. In clear jars or dessert glasses, layer strawberries, chocolate drizzle, and pistachio-kataifi mixture. Repeat layers.
  5. Top with chopped pistachios or edible gold. Chill briefly before serving.

Notes

Make ahead and chill for a few hours. For added flair, top with whipped cream, rose water, or white chocolate drizzle. Swap kataifi for GF cookies if needed.
