Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp (peeled, deveined)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil
  • 23 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika or cumin
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 46 tortillas or wraps (whole wheat, gluten-free, or lettuce leaves)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce or cabbage
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes or salsa
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • (Optional) Sliced avocado, jalapeño, fresh herbs, or your favorite sauce

Instructions

  1. Pat shrimp dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, toss shrimp with oil, garlic, lime juice, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high. Add the shrimp mixture.
  4. Sauté for 2–3 minutes per side, or until shrimp turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat immediately.
  5. Warm your tortillas or wraps.
  6. Layer on lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, and cooked shrimp.
  7. Finish with avocado, jalapeño, or a drizzle of your favorite sauce.
  8. Roll tightly (or fold if using lettuce leaves), slice in half, and enjoy!

Notes

Use fresh shrimp and don’t overcook them to keep the texture juicy. Add your favorite sauce or herbs, and feel free to switch up the wraps—lettuce, tortillas, or gluten-free alternatives all work beautifully.
