This Ginger Lemon Tea Fat-Burning Drink is warm, zesty, and refreshingly simple. Made with fresh ginger and lemon, it supports digestion, boosts metabolism, and has become Jack and Lisa’s daily reset ritual.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, thinly sliced or grated
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • ½ teaspoon honey (optional)
  • Optional: 1 cinnamon stick or pinch of cayenne

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a light boil in a small pot or kettle. Add ginger and optional cinnamon stick while heating.
  2. Simmer ginger in the hot water for 8–10 minutes, covered.
  3. Remove from heat. Strain into a mug and stir in fresh lemon juice.
  4. Add honey if desired. Stir well and sip warm, or chill and serve over ice.

Notes

Best sipped first thing in the morning or before meals. Adjust spice level by slicing ginger thinner or steeping longer. Make a batch ahead and refrigerate for up to 3 days. For a cool version, pour over ice with a lemon wedge.
