This creamy seafood pasta features tender shrimp, garlic butter sauce, and Italian seasonings for a quick and satisfying dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 68 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Bring salted water to a boil and cook spaghetti until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water and drain.
  2. Pat shrimp dry. Melt butter with olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from skillet.
  4. Sauté garlic briefly, then return shrimp to skillet.
  5. Add cooked pasta, seasonings, and 1/4 cup reserved pasta water.
  6. Toss until coated, adding more pasta water as needed. Garnish and serve.

Notes

Add Parmesan for extra flavor. Use reserved pasta water to adjust sauce consistency.
